VILLA LA GUARDIA

This nice Villa, once was a  lookout guard tower, built about the first half of the 1600 by Ferdinand II of the Medici and used by a small group of soldiers to guard against the arrival of the enemy.

Recently restored, maintaining all the characteristics of a typical Tuscan country house, the 5 Bedrooms Villa  is a place to relax and enjoy the vacation in total privacy.

The 2 hectar garden is looked after with great passion by the owners. There are olive trees, biological peach and plum trees, to which the guests are invited “to help themselves”. There are roses, lavanda and rosemary which fill the air with delightful, typical Tuscan perfumes, very difficult to forget.

For sport lovers there is a small football field (for 5), a ping pong table and lovely long walks through the oak woods which surround the property, Torre del Cielo is the ideal location for an unforgettable holiday in the middle of the Tuscan countryside.

The villa has a big swimming pool (depth 150 cm, 6x12 mts) surrounded by sunbeds, umbrellas and a gazebo There is a large garden from which one can admire the view over the panoramic valley below and  a delightful patio where there is “al fresco” dining table for 10 people.

Characteristic tower which has a separate entrance from the rest of the villa. There is a small sitting room with divan and table, a comfortable bathroom with a shower on the ground floor.
