General
The rich, aristocratic heritage of this elegant 19th century Villa is apparent in the dilettante obsessions that have created its eccentric grounds and sumptuous interiors. The magical views over all three branches of Lake Como and their mountainous backdrop, however, are simply priceless. Set on five acres of private gardens with a tennis court, swimming pool, superb views and, on request, a private mooring in the harbor (at additional cost). the entire complex faces southeast, halfway up the lake, providing a view of the three arms of Lake Como and the beautiful mountains across the lake. Ancient sequoias, cedars, oaks, magnolias and palms grace the property.
Ground floor:
The large foyer on the ground floor with its beautiful 18th century polychrome marble fireplace, leads through a conservatory-style area with superb lake views to the dining room and salon. On the same level there are a bedroom with a bathroom for the disabled, a professional kitchen, a laundry room, house bathroom and games room.
First floor:
Two double rooms with lake views, each with its own bathroom and Jacuzzi tub, a double room and small fitness room with Technogym equipment.
Second Floor:
A large veranda with lake view is a feature on this floor, complete with American pool table and play area for children. There are also two double rooms with private bathrooms.
Third floor:
Finally on the top floor there are further three double rooms each with its own private bathroom.
All rooms have a small wall safe and air conditioning.
No more than 20 meters from the entrance to the Villa is a pretty annex with a double bedroom and bathroom.
At the back of the villa there is a truly ancient stone cellar with vaulted ceilings and a vast selection of local, Italian and international wines.
Recently restored, the Villa maintains its traditional atmosphere complete with polished floors and a sweeping staircase. Each bedroom has its own modern bathroom.
The Villa ensures you can relax in complete privacy and exquisite style. A vegetable garden provides fresh produce for the kitchen. Staff are on hand for whatever you may need. There is a private swimming pool, gym, hot tub, children’s playground, nature park, tennis court and mooring for your exclusive use.

Available at extra cost, this small and more simply furnished guest cottage is located a few yards from the villa and because Villa Camilla has no elevator, it is ideal for guests who have some difficulty with stairs.
