A beautiful l8th century restored villa located in the very heart of upper Maremma, land of the Supertuscans, at a short drive from Castagneto Carducci and Marina di Donoratico, and steps away from the Tyrrhenean sea. Privately owned by a famed noble family, it is occasionally rented to selected guests.
The Villa accommodates up to 12 guests in total. The main building features 4 elegant double bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom; the common areas, finely adorned, include a double volume living room, TV viewing sitting room and dining room, as well as the kitchen, guest bathroom and staff bedroom. The annex features 2 double rooms, attentively furnished and refined, each with en-suite bathroom.
The precious town of Bolgheri is 15 minutes away, San Gimignano and Volterra can be reached in about 30 minutes. Siena and Florence are both about 1 hour and 45 minutes away.
The Villa boasts a charming 3 hectare park which includes a shimmering olive grove, marvelous rose bushes, and, in season countless juicy red-orange apricots to be tasted directly from the branches of the trees. The grounds also boast a superb al-fresco dining space, on the pavement terrace beneath a romantic wisteria-covered pergola, and a lovely swimming pool provides a splendid sun-kissed leisure area and ideally refreshing dives during hot summer months. The Villa is a child-friendly property, ideal for memorable family reunions or groups of friends.
