This beautiful 6 bedrooms villa, which dates back to the early 800s, has been completely renovated and develops on an internal area of about 1000 sqm and a beautiful outdoor garden of about 1/2 hectare which includes English lawn, swimming pool, a beautiful vineyard and a breath-taking view. When you take the entrance to the Villa you will be fascinated by the sense of space and light, the perfume of the uncontaminated woods. Fairytale atmosphere in which the Retreat, with its antique houses looking out over the towns of Pienza and Montefollonico, seems to not want to disturb the natural beauty of the area The Villa is full staffed and Chef is at your disposal to prepare your meals. This is an ideal place also to celebrate a private event, like a small wedding or an exclusive party.

ACCOMODATION
There is a large lounge area, with fireplace, and three bedrooms, whilst in the annex next to it has another three bedrooms with a delightful view over Pienza and the “limonaia”. Each bedroom is furnished in the classic style, with warm colours, elegant furniture and essentials like airconditioning, TV, LCD, safe, separate bathroom with hydromassage bath. In the Winter there is the fireplace where you can relax in peace and quiet with a glass of DOC red wine.
The main house: ground floor
Large kitchen which includes a dining table, island and wood fireplace ....the cook can prepare breakfast and other meals on request. A spacious lounge area with three divans, big dining table , fireplace and small library. Large arched windows and vaulted ceilings lead to the garden and the cotto floors are characteristic of this floor.
First floor
Bedroom 1. Most delightful, with a small living room and fireplace. Magnificent view over the vineyards and woods. Large hydromassage bath, AC, TV, LC and safe. Special attention in all the rooms is for the bed and bathroom linen.
Bedroom 2. As well as the view over the entrance avenue and vineyards, there are all the comforts as in bedroom 1.
Annex
Bedroom 3. Original 19th century Tuscan furniture offers all the comforts as above as well as a small, private terrace looking out over the view.
Bedroom 4 has bedroom 3, including the small terrace.
Bedroom 5. Looks out over the vineyard and has the warm colours and comforts of the other bedrooms, including another small terrace.
Bedroom 6. As above
Lemon house......quiet lounge in the center of the garden, far from noise but full of light thanks to the large windows. It has comfortable divans, mobile bar and coffee station.
Pavilion
Climatized for the seasons with great, glass windows, this area has a normal-sized bar and coffee station. Breakfast and dinner are served here and the guests have a beautiful view over the garden and countryside. Bathroom.

Area Information
The Retreat in fact, is set in one of the most prestigious wine-producing zones, famous for the Montepulciano red wine to be found in all the world wine guide books. It was also a renowned agricultural establishment and, for love of tradition, has recuperated that activity offering DOC wines of superior quality as well as extravergine olive oil delicious with all your favourite dishes. In the Summer season you will appreciate the outdoor areas, where a dip into the pool is equivalent to a dive into the enchanting hillside surroundings. In the woods it is not uncommon to see hares and baby goats which inhabit these uncontaminated areas.
