An ancient restored barn located a few miles from Siena, part of a farm lived in by the 2 owners. Renovated with taste and elegance, making sure to keep the characteristics of Tuscan houses, it is a house suitable for a couple of people
At the entrance there is a welcoming living/dining room area with well equipped kitchen corner. A staircase bring you to the first floor where you find a nice bedroom (with a possible extra bed) and a Bathroom with Shower.
The garden provides private corners where you can sit and read a good book or just relax
Near this house is a beautiful hamlet with a well-stocked grocery store , and a restaurant where you can safely eat well at great prices.

The house is strategically located in the beautiful countryside around Siena a few steps from the Chianti area for exploring the castles and famous vineyards, while the main arterial roads are less than two km away, allow easy access to Florence and San Gimignano, and the Val d'Orcia area. You can easily drive to shops and restaurants nearby, and to the historic centre of the city in 15 minutes, with all Siena's wonderful museums, art treasures and fascinating streets and shops to explore.

What a lovely place! Booking through Airbnb and Graziella as agent was excellent and reliable with good communications. Upon arrival we were greeted by the owners, a charming couple who have spent an enormous amount of love and time to create this little paradise from the ruins of an old farm. Its location in the middle of Tuscany is ideal for daytrips to Siena (15 min), Chianti to the north (1 hour), seaside (1 1/2 hours), Montepulciano etc to the south (1-1 1/2 hours). If you want to relax, just stay there with a book in your hand and inhale the amazing views of the Tuscany scenery. We had our e-bikes with us and explored the countryside in the vicinity (there’s steep hills all around). A great place to enjoy „slow (Oct 2021)
