Here, fishing has been the main profession for centuries. Every evening from our property you can see the bobbing lights of the boats out for squid, like fireflies on the swells. And if you are an early riser, you will spot the fishermen leaving port on their way to check their nets.
The lemon groves on the mountainous slopes along the coast have seen toil and fatigue since the ancient harvests, and still today, on the steeper seemingly inaccessible slopes, donkeys are needed to ansport the lemons.
The cuisine here seduces even the pickiest visitors to the Amalfi coast, and the local liqueur, the famous limoncello, is nothing short of sensational.
