An old Franciscan monastery converted into a Resort 200 years ago and with a rich history of illustrious visitors. At the heart of this enchanting Retreat is the original cloister, a quiet, cool place to relax or read. On the other side of the road perched on the promontory is the watchtower, which houses one of the resort’s restaurants and has incredible sea views. There are steps down from the tower to the pool located at sea level and you can swim from the rocks here. Outdoor salt water pool, situated across the road, with sunbeds and umbrellas; free WiFi in lobby; bar and lounge.
In this place, in the ancient cloister, there are also two artistic panels created by Angelo Tajani when it comes to the historical research and his brother Claudio for the graphics and photographs, illustrating the path of tourism since the time of travel of the "Grand Tour" to this day.
The panels show the origin of visitors from all five continents through a selection of autographs, appraisals, poems and images extracted from the "Golden Books" of the guests of the hotel. Travelers, among which stands out international personalities of the clergy, culture, art, politics and of the aristocracy, were drawn to these places by the beauty of the coast, from the history of the ancient Maritime Republic and from the remains of the apostle Andrew buried in the crypt of the Cathedral.

You will be approximately 500 meters from Amalfi, where you will find shops, public transportation, the beach and the tourist port. You will find the closest restaurant at 200 meters and the closest beach at roughly 500 meters.You will reach the Villa going up a 200-meters public walkway that cuts through a small country road and includes approximately 200 stairway steps. You will not need a car to stay at the Villa. If you do have one, you will be able to park it nearby, free of charge in a private parking lot. The parking space is suitable for at most one car.
The Amalfi Coast is named after the town of Amalfi, the central nucleus of the coast itself. It is bounded on one side by Positano and Vietri sul Mare on the other. For the beauty of its landscapes, it is a popular destination for tourists from around the world.
Vietri sul Mare will be the beginning of your tourist route, famous for the ancient tradition linked to its ceramics that decorate most buildings also present.
Amalfi is the city that stands at the center of the coast, being the first maritime republic, is still an important cultural center rich in history.

If you love nature you have to visit the Grotta dello Smeraldo, you will be enchanted by the beauty of its colors. The cave is located in Conca dei Marini, a small town near Amalfi.
